When we’re not staging our latest production, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe has event space available for rent to the public.
Business meetings, birthday parties, and everything in between can be held on our property. Looking for conference space? We have larger areas, such as our 204-seat Donnelly Family Theatre, a large first floor in our historic Binz building that can accommodate up to 200, a beautiful rooftop with scenic views of downtown, a 90-seat Black Box theatre and other adaptable spaces that can be used as breakout rooms.

Our Venues
Rentable event spaces at Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe
Donelly Family Theatre
Our Mainstage theatre seats 204 people and has comfortable padded seats with drink holders. There is not a bad seat anywhere in this theatre. It’s a perfect venue for corporate meetings, TEDx-style talks, award ceremonies, or other events that require a stage. The theatre has a beautiful lobby with a bar where refreshments may be served.
Howard J. Millman Black Box Theatre
An intimate venue, the Black Box accommodates up to 90 people and can be set up in different configurations to suit your event’s needs. It shares the lobby with the Donnelly Family Theatre.
Steve and Terry Clark Rooftop Terrace
Our third-floor rooftop terrace boasts city views, and it can host up to 250 guests. Hold a seated event here or a cocktail-style event with bar set-up and a buffet or passed appetizers. Note: This venue is only available when the weather permits.
Binz Building First Floor
The ground floor of the Binz Building can be configured with sliding walls to accommodate different size groups. It’s an ideal location for a conference with breakout sessions or a smaller meeting. The building also has a serving kitchen for caterers. In case of inclement weather, the first floor can be used as a backup space for rooftop rentals.
