Thomas “Fats” Waller wrote such jazz standards as “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” and “Honeysuckle Rose.” In the 1930s, he was ranked at the top among African-American entertainers on stage and on the radio.
Some things are even better the second time around. Such is the case for Big Sexy: The Fats Waller Revue, now in production at the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe until September 7.
Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe’s original production “Big Sexy: The Fats Waller Revue” will be presented in a special two-week run, Friday, August 22, through Sunday, September 7.
