Leon Pitts II is a longtime Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe artist whose work as an actor, singer and dancer has been featured in numerous WBTT productions. Most recently, Leon appeared in WBTT’s productions of Paradise Blue and Lies, Spells and Old Wives’ Tales.

His extensive stage credits include Fences, A Soldier’s Play, Once on This Island, Big Sexy: The Fats Waller Revue, Guys and Dolls, Joyful! Joyful!, Marvin Gaye: Prince of Soul, Soul Man, The Wiz (Tin Man),Hot Mikado and Five Guys Named Moe (No Moe). In the summers of 2022 and 2024 he appeared at the International (previously National) Black Theatre Festival in Soul Crooners.

In addition to his theatre works, Leon has danced in and choreographed various local shows and concerts.

Beyond the stage, Leon is an R&B recording artist, singer and songwriter who performs his own original music, which can be found on Apple Music and Spotify.
