Jaliyah Campbell has been captivating the hearts of audiences on and off stage as early as 3 years old. She is motivated by her mentor and acting coach, Nate Jacobs, Founder and Artistic Director of Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. Jaliyah has a natural talent for acting, singing and dancing. Her professional debut was in Brundibar, a production with the Sarasota Youth Opera at the age of 7.

Jaliyah has performed with Stage of Discovery, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe’s summer musical theatre intensive program, WBTT’s Black Nativity and Once on This Island as Little Ti Moune.

In June 2021, Jaliyah Campbell landed her first movie role in Playing Through, portraying the young Ann Gregory, a pioneering African American golfer, featured on Amazon Prime Video.

Jaliyah was a student representative in a commercial for the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, which aired in September 2021 on television and social media. She also appears in the M.A.D. Music Acting Dance video production, Holidays in Harmony, available on YouTube. As well as The Growing Garden pilot, written and directed by Nate Jacobs. She also played Melinda Loomis in the Asolo Repertory Theatre’s production of Inherit the Wind in January 2023. Jaliyah is also a competitive gymnast and placed 3rd all-around in the state of Florida and 5th place in the Region last year. At 14 years old, this dynamic performer always strives to give 100 percent, with talent, dedication and charisma.
