Dawn Derow is an award-winning singer, actress and cabaret artist whose work spans musical theatre, jazz, cabaret, dance and classical music. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Vocal Performance/Opera, Dawn has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Birdland Theater, The Green Room 42, The Triad and London’s Crazy Coqs.
Most recently, Dawn starred as Francesca Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County at Delray Beach Playhouse, earning the theatre’s Outstanding Actress Award. Her acclaimed cabaret Sing Happy: The Wonderful Women of Kander & Ebb received the 2026 MAC Award for Best Tribute Show, adding to her four MAC Awards and Bistro Award.
Her solo show My Ship: Songs from 1941 makes its Birdland Jazz Club debut April 18, 2027. Dawn also released her original single “Float” in 2026 and is thrilled to escape NYC’s midtown to make her Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe debut in Sophisticated Ladies this season.
