Sarasota/Bradenton native Amber Myers is no stranger to the stage. The actress-singer has a gregarious personality and a sarcastic sense of humor with facial expressions that will leave you immensely entertained. On top of her being a professional Musical Theater performer, she is also a short film actress and has experience writing, producing and starring in her own sold-out show, The Butterfly Effect.
She has worked in several different positions on staff at WBTT, such as Dresser, Stagehand and Wardrobe Manager, with her current position being Administrative Assistant. She received training from Florida Studio Theater, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe and State College of Florida. Amber Myers has been in productions such as Joyful, Joyful! and Marvin Gaye, Prince of Soul with WBTT. Other notable roles include West Side Story as Rosilia at SCF. Amber sang as one of four featured artists for the Sarasota Pops Orchestra concert, Spirit of America.
