VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINES:
Submission deadline for videos – Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5 pm EST.

Most productions run six weeks (holiday show runs 4–5 weeks), plus two weeks of band and technical rehearsals. We welcome all musicians with exceptional skills. While the ability to read music is helpful, it is not required for auditions or all productions.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule with minimal conflicts.
Repertoire
Please prepare two contrasting pieces (one slow, one fast) that showcase your musicality and technique. Each selection should be no longer than 32 bars.
You will also be asked to perform a selection from one of our shows in a variety of styles (e.g., Motown, Classic R&B, Gospel, Jazz) to demonstrate adaptability.
Ear Training
You may be asked to play riffs, melodies, or other musical elements by ear to demonstrate your ability to interpret music on the spot.
Sight Reading
Sight reading is not required. However, you may bring sheet music if you wish to demonstrate this skill.
Improvisation
You may be asked to improvise over a groove (primarily for drummers and guitarists) with the resident music director.
Video Auditions
Video submissions are accepted. Please be sure to introduce yourself including name, location and instrument. Video auditions should not be more than 5 minutes long.
