Proudly making her debut on the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe stage, Jaya German brings a unique blend of academic excellence, leadership, and performance experience to the spotlight. As an academic scholar, she was inducted into the Junior National Honor Society for the 2024-2025 school year. Presently a freshman in high school, Jaya is pursuing a rigorous academic path by being enrolled in all Advanced Placement (AP) classes, as well as AJROTC and her school’s theatre program.
Jaya’s stage presence is rooted in years of competitive gymnastics. A decorated athlete, she formerly trained at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics, representing Florida in regional and state competitions. Her impressive accomplishments include earning multiple 1st and 2nd place rankings. Though now retired from gymnastics to pursue new passions, Jaya’s discipline and poise as a gymnast have seamlessly translated into her work as a performer.
Audiences can look forward to witnessing Jaya German’s talent and dedication as she continues to explore and expand her artistic horizons. A joyful entertainer, Jaya is ecstatic and honored to be on the stage under the direction of the creative brilliance of Mr. Nate Jacobs!
