APPHIA CAMPBELL APPHIA CAMPBELL was a founding member of WBTT and, in 2014, returned to perform her exciting, award-winning one-woman show, Black Is The Color Of My Voice. She was invited to perform this play at the 2014 Edinburgh International Festival and, as a result of rave reviews, was invited back a second year. In 2015 the show received the Argus Angels award for excellence in theatre at the Brighton Fringe Festival. Apphia received her bachelor of fine arts degree in theatre performance from Florida International University. In 2009 she moved to Shanghai, China, where she sang blues, jazz, and pop in a variety of venues. In 2012 she formed Play The Spotlight Theatre Company (PTS), a theatre company that focuses on new works and musical pieces in Asia. Her most recent theatre credits are: Holiday Hitch (PTS theatre), No Exit (Blue Lane Theatre), The Deciders (New York Fringe Festival), and Beehive (Temple Theatre).
